The Rivière De Pas is a left tributary of the Rivière George in the northeast of the Canadian province of Québec .
The river has its origin 60 km north of Schefferville . It initially flows southeast and passes the two lakes Lac Dobbin and Lac Frederickson . Then it turns to the east and flows through a series of lakes: Lac Doublet , Lac McNeil , Lac Blenac , Lac Girard , Lac Laporte and Lac Dillon . Then it turns north and flows through Lac Talon and Lac Jamin . It takes up the Rivière Feuquières on the left and continues its course to the northeast. The river flows through a landscape of the Canadian Shield with little vegetation in the center of the Labrador Peninsula . The Rivière De Pas finally joins the Rivière George about 175 km northeast of Schefferville. The river has a length of about 160 km. The catchment area covers approximately 6030 km². The mean discharge is 95 m³ / s.
The river was named after Isaac de Pas , Marquis de Feuquières (1618–1688), the seventh viceroy of New France .
