Rivière Obatogamau is a left tributary of the Rivière Chibougamau in the southwest of the Canadian province of Québec and in the catchment area of ​​the Rivière Nottaway .

It forms the outflow of the lake system of Lacs Obatogamau . This includes the lakes Lac La Dauversière , Lac Le Royer , Lac Verneuil and Lac Chevrier . It is located about 15 km southwest of Lac Chibougamau . The Rivière Obatogamau flows in a westerly direction. There are other lakes on its route: Lac Muscocho , Lac Keith , Lac à l'Eau Jaune and Lac de la Presqu'île . There are no significant lakes in its lower reaches. After a total stretch of 70 km it reaches the Rivière Chibougamau.
