The Roannes (French: Ruisseau de Roannes ) is a river in France that runs in the Cantal department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Roques in the municipality of Lafeuillade-en-Vézie , generally drains in a north-westerly direction through a sparsely populated area and flows after 20 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Saint-Mamet-la-Salvetat and Sansac-de-Marmiesse as left tributary into the Cère .
