The Robert Bosch Comprehensive School in Hildesheim , abbreviated there as RBG, is a state integrated comprehensive school with an upper level . It is named after Robert Bosch , founder of Bosch GmbH , which has a plant in the city. In the all-day school with a 5-day week, over 1300 students in 43 classes are taught and supervised by around 100 teachers (as of December 2007).
The RBG in Hildesheim's Nordstadt was founded in 1971, making it one of the youngest schools in the city. The local Bosch / Blaupunkt plants donated an amount of DM 1 million to set up the educational institution . The Robert Bosch Comprehensive School has been one of 17 selected UNESCO project schools in Lower Saxony since 1979 and qualified as an environmental school in Europe in 1996 . In 2000 it was allowed to present itself as an “Expo School” for the state of Lower Saxony at the World Exhibition Expo 2000 in Hanover. In 2004 she was the national winner of the national mathematics competition . In 2006 the school was recognized as one of the comprehensive schools with a special all-day program. In 2007 she won the special prize of the Lower Saxony Minister of Education in the Jugend forscht competition . In December 2007, she prevailed as the main winner in the competition for the German School Prize .

The school offers several learning opportunities for high performing students. From the sixth year onwards, the pupils choose a second foreign language. The technology team of the RBG Hildesheim was founded in 2011, from which the AG event technology / technology team has developed. The own cafeteria offers school meals . Chess , card games , table tennis and billiards are available for leisure activities . There are other working groups and the school has a school library .
