Robert Büchting

Robert Büchting (born July 19, 1861 in Magdeburg ; † September 7, 1925 in Liegnitz ) was a German municipal jurist , Prussian district administrator , MdA Prussia (1913-1918) and district president in Liegnitz (1919-1925).

Life and work

Büchting entered the Prussian administrative service in 1884 as a doctor of law ( Dr. iur. ). In 1897 he was district administrator from Oberwesterwald circle and 1906 he was appointed as Privy Councilor to the district in the county Limburg appointed. From 1913 to 1918 Büchting was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives (MdA) for the National Liberal Party (NLP). During the First World War he served from 1915 to 1918 as district chief in the General Government of Warsaw .

In 1919 Büchting was appointed regional president for the Liegnitz administrative region.

Büchting was also on the board of the Central German Labor Association and held the post of state commissioner from the credit institute Upper and Lower Lusatia .
