Robert Bloch (born April 26, 1888 in Paris , † March 7, 1984 ) was a French racing driver .

Career

Robert Bloch was one of the racing drivers who competed in the first Le Mans 24-hour race in 1923 . Bloch and Henry Stalter finished 19th overall on a Lorraine-Dietrich . As a works driver for Lorraine-Dietrich, he contested the race in 1926 as partner of André Rossignol on a Lorraine-Dietrich B3-6. The race ended with the overall victory of the Bloch / Rossignol duo - it was the Frenchman's greatest success in motorsport.

Bloch had his last appearance at Le Mans in 1928 when he finished second overall with Édouard Brisson on a Stutz .
