Life
Robert Francis Hennessey received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Boston on May 20, 1978 from the Archbishop of Boston, Cardinal Humberto Sousa Medeiros .
On October 12, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Tigias and auxiliary bishop in Boston. The Archbishop of Boston, Sean Patrick Cardinal O'Malley , OFM Cap , donated to him on 12 December of the same year, as well as John Anthony Dooher , the episcopal ordination ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Boston, Emilio Simeon Allué SDB , and the auxiliary bishop emeritus in Boston, John Patrick Boles .
