Robert Hartmeyer
Heinrich Robert Hermann Hartmeyer (born May 19, 1874 in Hamburg ; † October 13, 1923 in Freiburg i.Br. ) was a German zoologist .
Hartmeyer studied medicine and biology from 1892 at the University of Bonn , from 1895 at the University of Leipzig (with Rudolf Leuckart ) and the University of Breslau (with Willy Kükenthal ). In 1898 he was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD.
In 1899 he conducted marine zoological studies in Messina, Naples and Rovigno .
In 1900 he became a research assistant. From 1908 he was curator at the Zoological Museum of the University of Berlin .
Since 1894 he was a member of the Corps Palatia Bonn .
