Robert Karl Sachße
Robert Karl Sachße (born January 13, 1804 in Leipzig , † December 27, 1859 in Heidelberg ) was a German lawyer , legal historian and librarian .
Sachße attended the St. Thomas School in Leipzig . He then studied mathematics , philosophy and law at the University of Leipzig . He received his PhD in 1829 for Dr. phil. At the University of Heidelberg , he received his doctorate in 1830 for Dr. jur. In 1833 he completed his habilitation and became a private lecturer there . His relative Karl Solomon Zachariae also taught there . He also worked at the Heidelberg University Library . In 1844 he became an associate professor .
