Louis Robert Lippl (born December 7, 1908 in Brussels ; † May 6, 2009 ) was a German architect , sculptor , painter and coin designer . Robert Lippl was a professor at the Technical University of Munich .

Career

Lippl studied architecture at the Technical University, today Technical University, in Munich and at the same time learned the profession of bricklayer . He then worked as an architect, from 1947 as a sculptor and painter. After teaching for one semester at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich in 1947 , he became professor for basic design at the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University of Munich in 1958 , and in 1966 as a full professor . After his retirement in 1974 he lived in Mitterfischen am Ammersee and continued to work as a painter, sculptor and medalist.
