Robert Raudner

Robert Hermann Raudner (born January 21, 1854 in Nimkau , Neumarkt district , province of Silesia , † January 14, 1915 in Munich ) was a German landscape and genre painter and etcher.

Born the son of a telegraph operator, Raudner studied painting at the Classical Class of Antiquities of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Gyula Benczúr , Alexander Strähuber , Johann Leonhard Raab and Ludwig von Löfftz from October 17, 1878 . When registering, Raudner gave Benau near Sorau as his place of birth .

After completing his studies, Raudner worked in Schleissheim near Munich. He mainly dealt with landscape painting and the art of etching. He exhibited his works in the Munich Glass Palace in 1897 and 1899 .
