Robert S. Farrell

Robert S. Farrell junior (born around 1906, † October 28, 1947 in Lake County , Oregon ) was an American politician ( Republican Party ).

Career

Not much is known about Robert Farrell. He lived in Portland, Oregon. During the Second World War he took part in the Republican National Conventions as a delegate for Oregon in 1940 and 1944 . Farrell in 1941 became the Speaker in the Oregon House of Representatives voted. He was Secretary of State of Oregon from 1943 until his death in 1947 . He died, along with Governor Earl Snell and the President of the State Senate , Marshall E. Cornett , in a plane crash while on a hunting expedition in southern Oregon. The small plane crashed in a storm near Dog Lake in Lake County on October 28, 1947. His funeral took place in the River View Cemetery in Portland.
