Robert Scheuch (born August 13, 1896 in Oberbozen ; † February 27, 1974 in Klagenfurt ) was an Austrian politician ( VdU / FPÖ ) and from 1949 to 1956 and from 1962 to 1966 a member of the Austrian National Council .

Scheuch attended a state high school after primary school and completed a degree in agricultural engineering at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna . He also studied at the University in Halle an der Saale . Scheuch worked as a farmer at the Sternhof in Mühldorf in Mölltal . Kurt Scheuch and Uwe Scheuch are his grandchildren.

Scheuch, a former NSDAP member, co-founded the Association of Independents (VdU) in 1949 and later the Austrian Freedom Party . He represented the VdU from November 8, 1949 to June 8, 1956 in the National Council and was then a member of the FPÖ from February 6, 1962 to March 30, 1966.
