Insult proceedings

On August 1, 2012, the Graz public prosecutor announced that a criminal complaint had been brought against Kurt Scheuch for insult. Scheuch is accused of having referred to the judge as a "toad" in the first-instance proceedings for the part-of-the-game affair . Kurt Scheuch refused to testify when he was questioned by the Graz public prosecutor on March 7, 2012. The trial took place on January 18, 2013 at the Leoben district court, as all the district judges in Carinthia had previously declared themselves biased. Scheuch pleaded guilty to the trial itself. He justified his testimony by saying that, in his opinion, the judgment was passed by the Freemasons . As part of a diversion , he was obliged to give a written apology and pay a fine of 6,600 euros. His apology to the judge read: “You are aware that I used to describe you as a toad or a wild Rambo judge in an emotional situation out of my indignation at the course of my brother's proceedings. With an expression of regret, I hereby withdraw my choice of words. I now realized that the choice of words was incorrect. "
