Robert Stratil (politician)

Robert Stratil (born October 16, 1926 in Vienna ; † September or October 2010 ; buried on October 9, 2010 ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) who was a member of the Vienna State Parliament and member of the Vienna City Council from 1983 to 1990.

Life & Career

Robert Stratil was born in Vienna on October 16, 1926. In 1983 he was elected to the Vienna City Council and State Parliament from the 16th district of Ottakring , to which he was subsequently elected from May 27, 1983 to December 31, 1990 over a period of two electoral periods ( 13th to 14th electoral period ) belonged to. On October 20, 1992 he was awarded the Golden Decoration of Honor for Services to the State of Vienna , which he subsequently took over on December 21, 1992. In September or October 2010 he died shortly before his 84th birthday and was buried on October 9, 2010 at Ottakringer Friedhof (group 4A, row 6, no. 12).
