Robert Witke (born June 28, 1967 ) is a former Polish ski jumper . He became Polish champion with the team in 1990 .

Career

Witke, whose father is Ryszard Witke , started as a representative of the LKS Skrzyczne Szczyrk , especially in lower class jumping competitions. First, however, he took part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 1983 in Kuopio , where he finished 48th. At the Junior World Championships in 1985 in Täsch he improved and was fourteenth in the individual and seventh with the team.

On December 22, 1985 Witke made his World Cup debut in Chamonix, France , but missed the points as in all subsequent attempts. At the ski flying world championship in 1986 on the Kulm , Witke finished 36th. At the Polish championships in Zakopane in early March 1990 Witke won the bronze medal from Średnia Krokiew . A day later he became Polish ski jumping champion in the team together with Andrzej Malik , Wacław Przybyła and Zbigniew Malik . In the individual competition of the Wielka Krokiew he missed the medal ranks in sixth.

After the 1990/91 season Witke ended his career.
