Robert Younger, Baron Blanesburgh

Robert Younger, Baron Blanesburgh , GBE , PC , QC ( September 12, 1861 - August 17, 1946 ) was a British lawyer who was last named Lord of Appeal in Ordinary on the basis of the Appellate Jurisdiction Act 1876 as a life peer also a member of the House of Lords was.

Life

After visiting the Edinburgh Academy graduated Younger an undergraduate degree at Balliol College of Oxford University and graduated in 1883 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from. He then studied law and was admitted to the bar ( Inns of Court ) of Inner Temple in 1884 . He then took up a job as a barrister and was initially Queen's Counsel for his legal services in 1900 and then in 1907 a so-called “bencher” of the Lincoln's Inn Bar Association . In 1915 he became a judge at the Chamber of Economic Matters ( Chancery Division ) at the High Court of Justice responsible for England and Wales and held this judge's office until 1919.
