Robert Zimmermann (born September 3, 1988 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German actor .

Life

Robert Zimmermann grew up in Brand-Erbisdorf (Saxony). A voluntary cultural year (FSJ), which he completed after graduating from high school, took him to the T-Werk in Potsdam. He then moved to Berlin for the first time, where he worked in various professions, including for the Artis company at the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Philharmonie Berlin and the Friedrichstadtpalast. Since then he has played in various theater productions, including on stages in Dresden, Berlin and Leipzig. From 2009 to 2012 Zimmermann studied speech science at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg , where he did his bachelor's degree. He then began studying at the University of Music, Theater and Media in Hanover , which he graduated in 2016. In the course of this training Zimmermann received a Germany scholarship in the field of acting. Since 2015, stages of his stage career have been at the Oldenburg State Theater , the Hanover Theater and the Altona Theater in Hamburg. In the 2016/17 season Zimmermann was engaged at the Berlin Theater an der Parkaue , and since summer 2017 he has been freelance and worked in Berlin and Hamburg.

Since the 2018/2019 season he has been working as an actor and musician at the Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord. He lives in Hamburg and Berlin.
