The Savonovski River is a 62 km long river on the Alaska Peninsula in southwest Alaska (USA).
The Savonoski River has its origin at about 300 m height on the north flank of the 2286 m high Mount Steller . It is fed by the Hook Glacier . It initially flows about 10 km in a northwesterly direction and then turns west. In the Savonoski River which flows Rainbow River from the left and shortly afterwards from the north of Grosvenor River . The latter forms the outflow of Lake Grosvenor . In the lower reaches the river forms an alluvial plain with numerous river arms. The Savonoski River eventually reaches the eastern end of the Iliuk Arm , a sub-basin of Naknek Lake . The Savonoski River and its catchment area lie entirely within the Katmai National Park . There is an archaeological site near the mouth of the Grosvenor River .
