The Naknek River is a tributary of the Bering Sea in southwest Alaska (USA).

The Naknek River forms the outflow of Naknek Lake in the east of the Alaska Peninsula . It flows over a distance of 55 km west to Kvichak Bay , a side bay of Bristol Bay . At King Salmon the King Salmon Creek flows into the river on the right side. In the lower reaches of the Naknek River flows through the Bristol Bay Lowland and flows 3 km west of Naknek into the Bering Sea.

The Naknek River is very developed for tourism. The area is easily accessible from King Salmon Airport. There are several lodges run by local tourism companies on the river. The Naknek River is a popular fishing spot in the summer months and early fall. All five salmon species in the Pacific Ocean are found in the river.
