Works (selection)

The Entombment (1829)
  • a cycle of pen drawings for Dante's Divina Commedia ;
  • a cycle of 8 pictures in the church of the general hospital in Munich, depicting the seven works of mercy, at the altar Christ healing the blind and the lame;
  • a descent from the cross in the Frauenkirche in Munich ;
  • Francis of Assisi in the Franciscan Church there.

Like his father, he was under the spell of misunderstood classical traditions, but many of his compositions do not lack ideal beauty and purity of drawing.
