Robin Kern (born October 3, 1993 in Nuremberg ) is a German tennis player .

Career

Robin Kern mainly plays on the ITF Future Tour , occasionally also on the ATP Challenger Tour . So far he has celebrated ten single and seven double victories on the ITF Future Tour.

He made his debut on the ATP World Tour in 2011 at the MercedesCup in Stuttgart , where he received a wildcard from the tournament management . In the first round he met the Italian Fabio Fognini and lost in two sets with 4: 6 and 1: 6. His first victory on the ATP World Tour was in the double competition at the MercedesCup 2013 alongside Tommy Haas . After winning the first round against the French duo Paul-Henri Mathieu and Benoît Paire , they were eliminated in two sets in the second round against Facundo Bagnis and Thomaz Bellucci . Nevertheless, he made up 370 places in his double placement in the tennis world rankings .
