The Rocky Tate River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of Queensland . It is located in the Far North Queensland region .
geography
River course
The river rises about 135 kilometers west-southwest of Innisfail and about 140 kilometers east-northeast of Georgetown in the Atherton Tablelands , part of the Great Dividing Range . The Rocky Tate River flows northwest and flows into the Tate River at Fischerton .
