Rodrigo Escobar Aristizábal (born February 10, 1939 in Pensilvania , Caldas ) is former bishop of Girardot .

Life

Rodrigo Escobar Aristizábal was ordained a priest on August 15, 1963 . Pope Paul VI appointed him Bishop of Girardot on May 21, 1982 .

The Archbishop of Manizales , José de Jesús Pimiento Rodriguez , gave him episcopal ordination on August 14th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Augusto Trujillo Arango , Archbishop of Tunja , and Rodrigo Arango Velásquez PSS , Auxiliary Bishop in Medellín .

He resigned from his office on September 17, 1987.
