The Roewe W5 is an SUV from the Chinese car manufacturer Roewe . The vehicle was first presented at Auto Shanghai in 2011. It is based on the SsangYong Kyron and is currently only sold in the People's Republic of China.

The W5 is equipped with a four-cylinder engine with 1800 cm³ displacement and a turbocharger . The engine has an output of 119 kW. The same motor is also used in the Roewe 350 and Roewe 550 .

The all-wheel drive model is equipped with a six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3200 cm³ and 215 kW.
