The Roewe i6 is a mid-range car from the Chinese brand Roewe . The vehicle was presented as a petrol engine i6 and as a plug-in hybrid ei6 at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2016 as the successor to the Roewe 550 and Roewe 750 . The i6 went on sale in China on February 27, 2017, followed by the ei6 in May 2017. Since March 2019, a higher-positioned version of the i6 Plus has been sold.
According to SAIC Motor, the "i" in the name stands for "Internet", "Innovation" and "Intelligence". The car is based on the new SAIC platform "MIP" . The c w -value of the sedan is exceptionally low, at 0.25.
ei6
The plug-in hybrid ei6 takes over the 92 kW (125 PS) one-liter gasoline engine from the i6 16T and combines it with two electric motors . With a total output of 168 kW (228 hp), the sedan accelerates to 100 km / h in 7.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km / h. The electric range of the plug-in hybrid is 53 kilometers.
