Roger Krug Guedes (born October 2, 1996 in Ibirubá , RS ) is a Brazilian soccer player . The right foot mainly plays in attacking midfield, but is also used in attack .
Career
Roger Guedes received his football training from Criciúma EC . Here he also made the leap into the professional squad in 2014. On November 23, 2014, he played in Série A against the Flamengo Rio de Janeiro , where he was substituted on in the 46th minute. On the last day of the match he scored his first league goal in his third appearance against Corinthians São Paulo . At the end of the season, his club finished 20th in the table and had to relegate. In the following season of 2015 he came to 42 missions in various competitions, in which Roger Guedes scored four goals. Of these, 21 games and two goals in the Série B .
Roger Guedes moved to Palmeiras São Paulo for the 2016 season . That year he won the national championship with the club . For this he appeared in 31 games and scored four goals. For the 2018 season, Guedes was loaned to Atlético Mineiro for one year in exchange with Marcos Rocha .
In July 2018, Guedes was signed by Shandong Luneng Taishan from China . The transfer fee was 9.5 million euros. Of this, 2.5 million went to his former club Atlético Mineiro and 2.7 million to Criciúma. Guedes played his first game in the Chinese Super League on matchday 14 of the 2018 season . On July 28, 2018, his club faced Jiangsu Suning away from home . In that game he was in the starting line-up. On the 26th matchday he scored his first league goal for Shandong. They played against Tianjin Teda on October 20, 2018 at home and Guedes scored in the 71st minute after presenting Graziano Pellè to make it 2-0.
