Marcos Luís Rocha Aquino , called Marcos Rocha , (born December 11, 1988 in Sete Lagoas , Minas Gerais ) is a Brazilian football player . The right foot is used on the right defensive side or in the right midfield.

Career

Marcos Rocha started his career in the youth team of Atlético Mineiro from Belo Horizonte . After being loaned to other clubs more often in the first few years, he was able to establish himself at Atlético in 2011 and celebrate some successes with this. Rocha played his first game in the Brazilian top division on May 16, 2009 against Gremio Porto Alegre . In the game he was substituted on in the 84th minute for Jonílson . He scored his first goal in the league that same season . In the home game against Avaí FC on August 21, 2009, Rocha scored in the 54th minute to make it 2-0 (2-2). In the same year Rocha played his first game at international club level. In the Copa Sudamericana 2009 he was in the starting line-up in the away game against Goiás EC on September 17, 2009 . At half time he was substituted for Sheslon .

For the 2018 season, Rocha was loaned to Palmeiras São Paulo for a year in exchange with Roger Krug Guedes . At the end of December 2018, Rocha switched permanently to Palmeiras . With the club he was able to become national champion in 2018. Here contributed one goal in 20 games. At the club he received a four-year contract.

National team

In the Brazilian national team, he was nominated for the Copa Roca by Mano Menezes in 2012 . In both games he only sat on the bench.
