The Rojacher Hütte is an alpine refuge of the Rauris section of the Austrian Alpine Club (ÖAV).

location

The first category hut is located in the Goldberg Group at an altitude of 2718  m , approx. 1 km as the crow flies southeast of the summit of the Hohe Sonnblick ( 3105  m ) or the Zittelhaus .

history

The hut is named after Ignaz Rojacher (1844–1891), Rauriser Trades and later mine owner . His friend, the Bohemian agricultural expert Wilhelm Ritter von Arlt , had the hut built in honor of Rojacher between 1898 and 1899. In 1992, an expansion towards the rock face began, which was completed with the inauguration on July 16, 1994. The Rauris Section (ÖAV) has owned the hut since 1984.
