The Duisburger Hütte is located at an altitude of 2572 m above sea level. A. in the Goldberg group in Carinthia , Austria in a valley basin at the end of the Fraganter Valley. It is owned by the Duisburg section of the DAV and is the starting point for ski tourers in early summer . In summer, easy hikes from the easily accessible hut are just as possible as challenging, high-alpine glacier and circular tours.
The surroundings of the hut are today characterized by the reservoirs of the Fragant power plant group and the Mölltal Glacier ski area .
