Rok Mandl (born July 18, 1988 ) is a former Slovenian ski jumper .

Career

Mandl made his debut in an international competition on December 18, 2004 at a ski jumping competition of the FIS in Seefeld . On September 17th, 2005 he took part for the first time in the FIS Cup, which took place in Predazzo in 2005 . In the individual competition he took 7th place there.

On January 5, 2008 Mandl made his debut at the Continental Cup and finished in Kranj a 38th place. His best result this season was a 9th place in Hinterzarten . In the overall ranking at the end of the season, Mandl was 70th.

In February 2008 he took part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Zakopane and took 23rd place in individual jumping. He was also sixth with the team in the team competition. In 2009 he took part in the Universiade in Yabuli and took two 13th places in the individual as well as the 6th place with the Slovenian team. Two years later he took part again in a Universiade; this time it took place in Erzurum . Here he came in 7th and 10th in the individual, and together with the Slovenian team he won the silver medal, his greatest success so far.

In the 2009/10 Continental Cup season his best result was a 14th place in Zakopane; at the end of the season he was 65th overall with 74 points.
