action

1000 years ago, the Saint of the One Flower ( 一輪 の 聖者 , Ichirin no Seija ) defeated the demon god ( 魔神 , Majin ), but was only able to seal him on a peninsula that is only connected to the rest of the world by a narrow headland. Since she knew that the demon god would awaken again, she arranged for the six strongest fighters to become heroes, all of whom wear the pattern of a six-petalled flower to push the demon god back again. As the third resurrection of the demon god approaches, six heroes gather again to fight him.

One of these is the self-proclaimed strongest man in the world, Adlet Myer ( ア ド レ ッ ト ・ マ イ ア , Adoretto Maia ). When he disrupts a fight in the kingdom of Piena to prove himself the strongest, he is incarcerated for his insolence. When his flower painting appears, he flees with the princess of the country, Nachetanya Loei Piena Augustra ( ナ ッ シ ェ タ ニ ア ・ ル ー イ ・ ピ エ ナ ・ ア ウ グ ス ト ラ , Nasshetania Rūi Piena Augusutora ), who is also one of the heroes. Nachetanya is the saint of blades and can let them appear, shape and move according to her will.

On their journey to the land of the demon god, they both meet some demons who have attacked villages, and then other heroes. Goldof Auora ( ゴ ル ド フ ・ ア ウ オ ー ラ , Gorudofu Auōra ) is a knight at the court of Pienas who was sent to find the murderer of the hero. This should target the six heroes. The saint of gunpowder and rifleman Flamie Speeddraw ( フ レ ミ ー ・ ス ピ ッ ド ロ ウ , Furemī Supiddorō ) turns out to be a murderer, but is also a heroine herself.

The four set off to a temple at the entrance to the land of the Demon King, which is used after the heroes enter the land of the Demon King to erect a barrier to prevent further demons from pouring into the human world. There they meet the other heroes: the little girl Chamot Rosso ( チ ャ モ ・ ロ ッ ソ , Chamo Rosso ), who is the saint of the swamps and is considered the strongest heroine after the saint of the One Flower; the director of the Temple of Heaven and saint of the mountains Maura Chester ( モ ー ラ ・ チ ェ ス タ ー , Mōra Chestā ), as well as the assassin Hans Humpty ( ハ ン ス ・ ハ ン プ テ ィ , Hansu Hamputi ). When they all meet, it turns out that instead of the expected six, there are now seven heroes present and that this releases the barrier prematurely to keep all heroes trapped inside. The seven heroes then try to find out which one of them is the seventh. In this discussion, Fremy is first accused, but Adlet tries to protect her and thereby comes into focus himself and is pushed further and further into the corner and accused as the seventh. As a result, he has to flee the temple and kidnaps Fremy. The remaining five try to chase Adlet and can wound him badly, but he manages to hide. Fremy then bonds the seriously injured Adlet and talks to him about her and his past. Fremy ultimately decides to leave Adlet and join the others, but she hands Adlet a bomb with which he can contact her. When Fremy is back at the temple, she is asked about Adlet's whereabouts and answers this question. The group now decides to look for Adlet and splits up into smaller groups. The groups are as follows: Hans and Chamo stay near the temple; Goldof and Nashetania search one half of the barrier and Fremy and Mora search the other half, where Adlet was. Adlet, who has already thought that the others would be looking for him, immediately sets off to meet Hans after he has healed himself to some extent. He hopes that he would meet Hans alone and manages to confront him at the temple too. There is no trace of Chamo because she wanted to play in the forest. During the confrontation, Adlet and Hans have a heated fight. Adlet, who tries to convince Hans that he is not the seventh, is however combative inferior to Hans and therefore tries to defeat him with his secret weapons. After Adlet has used up almost all of his weapons, he dares one last attack by shooting his sword just past Hans with the help of a spring. Hans then attacks Adlet with a poison which causes hallucinations in him. Hans, who is an assassin, concludes from Adlet's hallucinating face that he is not the seventh.

Now the two try to find out who the "seventh hero" is who was smuggled in by the demons.
