Roland lamp

Roland Lampe (born November 30, 1959 in Berlin-Weißensee ) is a German writer .

Life

Lampe, who grew up in Hohen Neuendorf in what was then the Oranienburg district , originally wanted to become a journalist, but had to break off his studies at the University of Leipzig in 1980 for political reasons. After training as a bank clerk , he studied at the Literature Institute in Leipzig from 1982 to 1985 .

He has published six books of prose and a volume of poetry as well as two books on Theodor Fontane , and he also writes articles and reports on writers and literature in Brandenburg .

In 2016/17, Lampe went on a literary search for traces in Oberhavel . In three books he introduced almost 100 authors who had or have a connection to this district north of Berlin.

Today he lives in Berlin-Wedding .
