Roland Schwab (born June 15, 1963 in Innertkirchen , Bernese Oberland ) is a Swiss musician ( multi-instrumentalist ), songwriter and music teacher .

Musician, multi-instrumentalist

Roland Schwab grew up in Innertkirchen in the Bernese Oberland. In 1980 he moved to Bern to study the trombone . He took part in numerous recordings and in bands. Completed training in curative education , Lausanne. He received further training in music therapy , choir conducting and supervision . Schwab works as a musician ( multi-instrumentalist ) and music teacher and music therapist. From 1999 to 2017 he was on the road with the successful children's music duo " Leierchischte ". He continues to give children's concerts under his name and under “Kindersongs.ch”. Roland Schwab developed the rhythm and percussion course MIKURS in 2009, which is suitable for children from preschool age. He has been working in the training of teachers since 2002. Roland Schwab plays the alphorn , bass trumpet , tuba and serpent , along with many other instruments . He lives in Bönigen near Interlaken.
