Roland Senger

Roland Senger (* 1979 / 1980 in Osnabrück ) is a German basketball coach .

career

Senger was the coach of the women of Osnabrücker SC in the 2nd Bundesliga until 2007 and then moved to BG Rotenburg / Scheeßel . In 2011 he led the Rotenburg women to promotion to the Bundesliga . Under his leadership, Emma Stach made her Bundesliga debut in 2011 and at the age of 14 was as young as no other player before her. In November 2012 there was a separation between the Rotenburger and Senger.

In the run-up to the 2013/14 season, Senger was head coach at the women's Bundesliga club ChemCats Chemnitz . In February 2014 he was dismissed in Chemnitz because he had hidden a love affair with one of his players from the club's management.

Senger then held the position of coach for the women of the Osnabrück TB (2nd Bundesliga), then that of the sporting director and the coach of the OTB men (2nd regional league).

At the end of August 2018 he was introduced as the new head coach of the men's second regional league team TuS Bramsche . He led the team in the 2018/19 game year to win the championship title in the 2nd Regionalliga North-West and thus to promotion to the 1st Regional League. In summer 2020 he stopped working in Bramsche due to a job-related move to Hamburg .
