career

Ackermann was with the KSC amateurs 1966/67 runner-up in the 1st Amateur League North Baden. In the subsequent games for the German amateur championship against Holstein Kiel (6: 3, 3: 3) and SpVgg Neu-Isenburg (4: 5, 2: 2) the talents of coach Bernhard Termath - Ackermann's teammates were players like Günther Cuntz , Werner Hösl , Herbert Layh , David Scheu , Heinz Schneider , Heinz Schrodt - their talent and got a licensed player contract for the team from the Wildparkstadion for the 1967/68 season . In addition to its own amateurs, the KSC also carried out the commitments of Gérard Hausser , Jürgen Rynio , Klaus Slatina , Lutz Streitenbürger and the return campaign of Günter Herrmann before the fifth Bundesliga season . It was a thoroughly negative round for the KSC and the previous amateurs. Three coaches tried in vain to keep the class with the blue-whites: Paul Frantz , Georg Gawliczek and ex-national player Berni Termath. With 17:51 points, including 3:31 minus points in the away games, KSC was relegated from the Bundesliga as bottom of the table in 1967/68.

From coach Georg Gawliczek - he had replaced Paul Frantz on October 25, 1967 - he was used once in the Bundesliga on the last first round match, December 9, 1967, in a 2-2 home draw against 1. FC Kaiserslautern . He formed the KSC's defense in front of goalkeeper Jürgen Rynio together with Josef Marx , Jürgen Weidlandt , David Scheu and Eugen Ehmann . He later played for ASV Durlach in amateur football in Baden.

Ackermann has been a partner at Skill GmbH since 1987, where he is managing director, trainer and consultant.
