Rolf Gattermann
Rolf Gattermann (born July 10, 1949 in Groß Börnecke ; † June 30, 2006 in Halle (Saale) ) was a German zoologist. His research areas were in particular behavioral biology , sociobiology , chronobiology and the molecular zoology of various Eurasian hamster species . Until his death he held the chair for general zoology at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg . Since 2003 he has been a full member of the Saxon Academy of Sciences .
