Rolf Grupe

Rolf Grupe (born February 26, 1920 ; † 1995 ) was a soccer player in Leipzig . In 1951 he was GDR soccer champion with BSG Chemie Leipzig .

In the 1949/50 season, the 30-year-old group became district champion with the company sports community (BSG) Union Leipzig. He then moved to the GDR upper division club BSG Chemie Leipzig, where he made his debut in the top football class on October 1, 1950 at the encounter on the 7th match day of the 1950/51 season 1950/51 Chemie Leipzig - Babelsberg rotation (2: 1) as a half-right striker GDR existed. In the course of the season he made his mark on the left winger and with nine goals behind Rudolf Krause (18 goals) to become the chemists' second best attacker. At the third division Rotation Nordost Leipzig , he let his career end.

In 1968 Grupe reappeared as a trainer for the Leipzig district league team Stahl Brandis .
