Rolf Künne
Rolf Künne (born October 30, 1948 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He was from 1991 to 2009 District Administrator of the rural district of Kaiserslautern .
Life
After graduating from high school, Rolf Künne studied law at the University of Bonn in 1967 and passed his first state examination in 1972. He spent his legal traineeship in the Palatinate in the district of the Zweibrücken Higher Regional Court . After the second state examination, he was appointed judge at the Kaiserslautern Regional Court in 1975 and from 1977 at the Kaiserslautern Local Court . In 1989 he became the presiding judge at the Zweibrücken Regional Court , where he last headed the third criminal chamber.
Rolf Künne is married and has three grown children.

From 1991 to 2009 Rolf Künne was the first and so far only district administrator in the district of Kaiserslautern, appointed by the SPD. From 1994 to 2004 he was a member of the Palatinate District Assembly, where he was a. a. Chairman of the Audit Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Structural Committee as well as a member of the District Committee and worked as a citizen in the Audit Committee of the Palatinate District Parliament. As deputy chairman of the planning community West Palatinate, it was his particular concern to improve the infrastructure of this region in various areas.

Rolf Künne was chairman of the district association of the German Red Cross until September 2017 . From 1991 to 2014 he was chairman of the Palatinate Forest Nature Park Association , which forms the German part of the cross-border Palatinate Forest-Northern Vosges biosphere reserve . Künne lives in Frankelbach near Kaiserslautern as a business consultant and is chairman of the board of the efficiency offensive energy Rhineland-Palatinate (EOR) eV and member of the supervisory board of the energy agency Rhineland-Palatinate.
