Rolf Raasch

Rolf Raasch (born January 4, 1953 in Berlin- Pankow) is a German publicist , sociologist and publisher .

Life

After an apprenticeship as a decorator in West Berlin and obtaining the general university entrance qualification on the second educational path , he studied sociology , philosophy and political science at the FU Berlin . Raasch is one of the co-founders of Libertad Verlag and the Libertarian Forum Berlin. Today he works as an addiction social therapist. Raasch became known in the media primarily as an author and anarchism researcher and as a publisher of the OPPO publishing house .

activity

Rolf Raasch was active in the anarchist apprenticeship and young workers' movement in West Berlin in the 1970s. In 1976 he founded Libertad Verlag together with the three brothers Jochen, Christian and Thomas Schmück . In the 1980s he was involved in the Libertarian Forum Berlin. In the 1990s he ran the OPPO publishing house together with Hans Jürgen Degen, which he now continues to run as a sole proprietorship.

Together with Jochen Schmück and Jochen Knoblauch , Raasch founded and maintains the lexicon of anarchy on the Internet and wrote articles for the libertarian magazine Espero .
