The Romika-Weg is a premium hiking trail and a so-called dream loop on the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig . It has a length of 11.8 kilometers and runs at an altitude of about 200 to 340 meters above sea level.

The circular route is located near Gusterath-Tal , Gusterath , Pluwig and Lonzenburg in the Trier-Saarburg district in Rhineland-Palatinate.

A start and finish point ( 49 ° 42 ′ 30.3 ″  N , 6 ° 43 ′ 59.6 ″  E ) is the site of the former Romika shoe factory in Gusterath Valley in the middle Ruwertal . The path first leads along the Waldbach up to the Grillhütte Gusterath and to Gusterath, through the valley of the Gusterather Waschbach to the Pluwiger sports field, past the Wilzenburger Waschbach and the Karl May grounds to Ruwer and via Raulsmühle along the Starkelsgraben to Lonzenburg and from there back down to Gusterath valley. On the high sections it offers good views of the Ruwertal and the high forest .

The Romika path was completed in May 2014. The German Hiking Institute e. V. has certified it as a premium hiking trail and rated it with 70 adventure points.
