history
The place was an estate owned by Baron Schenk von Schmidtburg . On January 9, 1298, Ysembard von Godewilre ( Gutweiler ) from Lonzenburg sold his properties in Luntzenbrech to the Dominican monastery of St. Katharina in Trier . The monastery leased the farm to competent farmers by means of court letters .

Territorial the Lonzenburger Hof belonged to the community Schöndorf in the care Waldrach in the office Pfalzel of the electorate Trier (upper archbishopric).
Attractions
The Banneux pilgrimage chapel from 1957 is located in Lonzenburg .
