Ron Caron

Ronald Caron (born December 19, 1929 in Hull , Québec , † January 9, 2012 in Montreal , Québec) was a Canadian ice hockey official .

Career

Caron worked for the Canadiens de Montréal from 1968 - most recently as assistant to the general manager before he was fired there in 1983. From 1983 to 2000 he worked for the St. Louis Blues , where he worked as general manager from 1983 to 1994 and again temporarily in 1996/97.

Caron died in 2012 after a long illness.
