Ronald Miehling

Ronald "Blacky" Miehling (born July 12, 1950 in Hamburg ) is one of the largest former drug dealers in Hamburg. In the course of his life he was sentenced to over 30 years in prison for aggravated robbery, murder and drug trafficking .

Life

Miehling was born the son of a police officer and is a trained concrete worker .

In 1968 he was jailed for the first time at the age of 18 for robbery . In 1978 he and an accomplice killed a meat wholesaler in Jesteburg in a break-in . The case was picked up on the television program Aktenzeichen XY . In 1980 he was sentenced to ten years imprisonment for negligent homicide for this crime by the Stade Regional Court .

After his release he rose from pimp and money collector to one of the largest cocaine dealers in Hamburg. In 1992 Miehling fled to Colombia and was arrested in Venezuela in 1994. After extradition to Germany, he was sentenced to 12½ years in prison, which he served in the Fuhlsbüttel correctional facility . In 2003 he was released early. In November 2005, Miehling was arrested again for trafficking in cocaine in his apartment in Hamburg-Bramfeld . Between autumn 2004 and November 2005 he had cocaine smuggled into hiding places on ships to Antwerp and Hamburg from a supplier from Colombia . In October 2005, the authorities intercepted a container ship with cocaine, made bogus purchases and arrested him. The district court of Hamburg sentenced him again to seven years and nine months in prison, in addition he had to serve the remaining sentence from the previous conviction.

The documentary film Der Schneekönig , broadcast on ARD in June 2013, shows Miehling's criminal life from the perpetrator's perspective. After his release in 2014, Ronald Miehling founded a fashion label and, among other things, offered T-shirts with coca plant prints in an internet shop. He wanted to work with other ex-prisoners at an anti-drug association in Marburg . The song “Der Schneekönig” by the rapper Tice, published in 2014, deals with Miehling's person and life. Today he lives in seclusion with his third wife and daughter in northern Germany .
