Ronny Lauke (born September 17, 1976 in Eisenhüttenstadt ) is a German sporting director in cycling and a former cyclist .

In 1991 and 1992, Ronny Lauke was the German junior runner-up in road racing . In 1993 he became the junior world champion in team pursuit , together with Dirk Ronellenfitsch , Thorsten Rund and Holger Roth . In the following year he finished second in the team pursuit (with Heiko Szonn , Lutz Birkenkamp and Michael Werner ) and third in the points race at the junior track world championships .

1997 Lauke joined the professionals , but could not achieve any major success. In 2004 he retired from active cycling. From 2008 he worked for the HTC-Columbia team as the sporting director, and since 2011 for the women's team , now Canyon SRAM Racing . After BDR trainer Thomas Liese fell ill in May 2012, Lauke made himself available to the Association of German Cyclists to look after the women's national team at the Olympic Games in London .

Ronny Lauke is the son of the cycling Olympian Gerhard Lauke .
