Rosca (unit)

The Rosca , also Rosga , was a measure of length used in various regions of Dalmatia , such as Trogir , Omiš and Split . In Zadar and Scardona as well as on the islands of Pag , Rab and Brač the measure was called Pertica , but it was the same size as that of Omiš and Split. The measure corresponded to the rod .

  • 1 Rosca = 7 feet (Venice) = 2.4341 meters
  • Trogir: 1 Rosca = 6 ⅔ feet (Venice) = 2.31823 meters
