When Rose is released from prison, her former prison guard, the lonely Marie, offers her a place to sleep and work. The two initially enjoy their first evening together in Marie's apartment. Everything gets out of hand when it becomes clear that the two women want completely different things. Marie tries to put Rose in a new prison.
Turn
The story takes place in the Free State of Bavaria, among other places, in a Bavarian penal institution. Most of the motifs were shot in Landshut and the Inning am Ammersee, also in Bavaria . In Landshut, the film was shot in the Landshut correctional facility .
Premieres
As part of the Max Ophüls Preis 2016 film festival, the film will celebrate its world premiere on January 19, 2016 in Saarbrücken. This was followed by the Indian premiere in March 2016 at the "Maharashtra International Short Film Festival" in Mumbai and the US premiere in April 2016 at the "14th Oakland International Film Festival". The film will celebrate its free TV premiere on Bayerischer Rundfunk on July 26th . This is followed by festivals such as the "20th NYC PictureStart Film Festival", at which the short film was awarded two prizes, the "6th Rio Gender & Sexuality Film Festival" and the "2nd International Youth Film Festival Langend". The short film was also shown in Germany at the Frankfurt Short Film Night Shorts At Moonlight , the "7th Queer Film Festival Oldenburg" and the "9th Filmzeit Kaufbeuren". In addition, Rose competed at the 21st North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and won the Founders Award at the 5th North Carolina Film Awards.
