In 2008 she won the Europe Marathon and defended her title in Nairobi. In 2009 she won the Ruhr Marathon with a personal best of 2:36:52 hours.

In June 2011 she finished second in Kuala Lumpur and increased to 2:35:12 hours. In December of that year, Chesire tested positive for the stimulant methylhexanamine and was banned for a year. It has not appeared internationally since then.
