Activism and public relations in Ukraine

Ukraine is one of the poorest countries on the European continent (30% of Ukrainians live on less than 115 euros a month) and yet statistically they produce much more waste than Germany and France (9th place in the world according to the World Bank). This project addresses both issues.

The concept is to collect products that are nearing the end of their best-before date from supermarkets and give them to those in need in the Tarilka branch.

This concept was adopted by the panels in Ulm and Karlsruhe, which worked closely with Rostyslav Kosyura on the implementation of the project in Ukraine.

In addition, the “tarilka.org” concept includes a total of three full-fledged projects. Tarilka as a board, GreenCompany as an ecological project with a focus on “ Foodwaste ” and the “Association of non-profit organizations” (in Ukrainian: “Об'єднання благодійних організацій”).

More than 40 people are currently working as volunteers in Tarilka.

In 2019 Rostyslav Kosyura was chosen in two different magazines in the ranking of “People of the Year 2019”.
