Rothenbach is located west of Lindenkreuz near the federal motorway 9, separated by a forest in a rural undulating area. The agricultural hamlet is located near the western edge of the core village of Lindenkreuz.
history
Gutsweiler was first mentioned in a document on June 10, 1283. The place belonged to the office Weida in the Electorate of Saxony and from 1815 to the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach ( Neustädter Kreis ). 50 people currently live in the hamlet.
